This was my first Web3 project, during the pandemic. Understanding ReFi (Regenerative Finance) and DeFi (Decentralised Finance) and tokenomics and then distilling all of this into simple, easy to understand UX copy for onboarding was a great learning opportunity.
We worked in a DAO or decentralised autonomous organisation. It was an interesting challenge as the team was working remotely and async.
Worked with ReFi DAO, Hypha, to develop and gamify the onboarding experience for their app, SEEDS Passport.
I had to establish a voice and tone and maintain consistency while rendering complex concepts simply. We worked collaboratively in GitHub, AdobeXD and Google Suite.
I also provided the UX Writing for Hypha's DAO portal dao.hypha.earth.
Positively impacted communities from Asia to Africa, to North America and beyond.
Helped document the DAO's organisation and processes.
Refined and iterated on the UX copy for the Hypha DAO and DAO launcher.
Created simplified instructions for new DAOs on using the tools to create their own decentralized, digitized communities.
Created 20+ scripts for a gamified onboarding experience.
Created a voice and tone for our Guide persona and maintained the consistency.
Applied strategic creativity throughout so that the Guide's tone and content never got monotonous or heavy.
Explained technical blockchain and tokenomics concepts in a simple, engaging manner.
Worked remotely, cross-functionally and in an ASYNC manner to great success.
Communities from Africa to Asia to South America to Australia have been brought together to work towards regenerating nature and creating tools and communities with this aim using our products.
